Rooview is currently offered free of charge as an early-access platform. Features may change, and the service may be updated or suspended at any time. Please read section 7 for full details.
Rooview is a supervision and review management platform for academic supervisors, researchers, and organisations that need a structured way to track progress, conduct regular reviews, and maintain records of supervision meetings. It is developed and operated by Dr. Amir Mokhtarzadeh as an independent platform, currently provided free of charge during its early-access stage.
Rooview is available to individuals who have been invited by a supervisor, administrator, or institution. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By accepting an invitation and registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will use the platform responsibly and in good faith.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Please do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact your supervisor or the platform administrator immediately. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that are misused or that violate these terms.
As a registered user, you may submit reports and files, view feedback from your supervisor, track your task progress, and manage your personal profile. Supervisors may create review plans, tasks, and session notes for their students or staff. All activity should be relevant to the supervision or review process.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or unrelated to the review process. You must not attempt to access other users' accounts or data. You must not use this platform to harass, mislead, or harm others. Any misuse may result in immediate account suspension.
Rooview is designed for tracking academic tasks, review notes, and supervision progress — not for recording sensitive personal data. We strongly advise against entering health information, personal circumstances, confidential matters, or any other sensitive data into the platform. If you choose to record such information, you accept full responsibility for ensuring that doing so is appropriate, proportionate, and compliant with applicable data protection law. We cannot be held liable for the consequences of sensitive data being recorded by users on this platform.
Rooview is currently offered free of charge as an early-access platform. We make no guarantees about uptime, data permanence, or continuity of service during this period. Features may change, and the platform may be updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time. While we will do our best to give reasonable notice of significant changes, we cannot be held responsible for any loss of data or disruption to your work. By using Rooview during this stage, you accept these limitations. A paid tier with stronger service commitments may be introduced in the future — existing users will always be given advance notice.
Files, reports, and notes you submit remain yours. By submitting content to Rooview, you grant us permission to store and display it within the platform solely for the purpose of facilitating your supervision or review. We do not claim ownership of your work and will not use it for any other purpose.
We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data using current best practices — including encrypted connections, secure password storage, and restricted server access. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security. By using Rooview, you acknowledge this inherent limitation and agree that we cannot be held liable for security incidents beyond our reasonable control.
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at support@review.rooz.com. We will remove your personal data within 30 days of receiving your request. Please note that review records associated with your account may be retained by your institution or supervisor — in which case your administrator will inform you. You may also ask us for a copy of your data before deletion.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
